Dalton Future Problem Solvers Take Top Awards – Junior Division Advances to Internationals
Congratulations to the Dalton participants and winners who attended the Future Problem Solvers (FPS) Skit Presentation and Awards Ceremony. Dalton FPS students have worked really hard in this rigorous Future Problem Solvers after school program which "stimulates critical and creative thinking skills, encourages students to develop a vision for the future, and prepares students for leadership roles" in problem-solving around significant global issues. Under the guidance of advisors, Sophie Gloeckler and Alicia Reid, Dalton Problem-solvers came in 3rd place in the Junior Division for their FPS skit which they wrote and performed in front of an audience of 300 at Freeport High School on Long Island. Additionally, "The Three Musketeers" one of our teams in the Junior Division placed 2nd in the overall FPS competition and will advance to the June Internationals in Wisconsin!
