The Athletics Center was overflowing Friday night as students donned their Dalton Blue for a "blue out" at this year's Warren Hines Night. Warren Hines Night is an annual event commemorating the legacy of the late Dalton student-athlete Warren Hines '88, who exemplified team spirit, commitment, and kindness. Funds raised at the event support the Warren Hinds scholarship fund.
Warren Hines is one of the highlights of the year, and the games didn't disappoint. All four basketball teams squared off against Fieldston. Both Girls Basketball teams continued their undefeated season. The JV Girls won in impressive fashion by 19 points while the Varsity team improved to 18-0 with a 53-30 victory. Although the JV Boys played a tough game but came up a little short, the Boys Varsity won the final game of the night, a thriller, that was clinched at the end resulting in a 58-53 win. Wrestling took on Martin Luther King earning a solid win.
With winter season wrapping up, all of the Dalton teams look to finish up on a high note in preparation for postseason tournaments and championships.
