“Gotitas del Saber” Podcast Celebrates Milestone 60th Episode Honoring Helen Parkhurst

"Gotitas del Saber," a podcast dedicated to celebrating Latinx culture and the Spanish language in the First Program, has reached an exciting milestone: its 60th episode!
Hosted by Dalton students, the podcast has become a beloved platform for sharing gotitas (drops) of wisdom, showcasing cultural traditions, and conducting interviews with community members who bring diverse stories and knowledge.

For this special episode, the podcast embraced the spirit of El Día de Los Muertos, a meaningful tradition from Mexico and other Latin American countries that honors loved ones who have passed away. Five student hosts led the episode, sharing insights about the holiday and its significance, as well as honoring an important educational figure, Helen Parkhurst, the founder of the Dalton School. Thanks to the magic of technology, listeners could hear Parkhurst's voice, which made the episode even more special.

This 60th episode is a celebration of tradition, culture, and education — a testament to the podcast’s motto, saber te da poder (knowledge is power). We’re thrilled to share the link to this episode and the entire "Gotitas del Saber" series
