Dalton 7th Grader Wins Scholastic Scope National Writing Competition
Congratulations to 7th grader Ivana Beltrán ’26 who was recently selected as one of a few students nationwide to be recognized for outstanding writing responses to a recent edition of Scope Magazine.
Ivana’s essay, “Aftershocks,” explored the impact of an earthquake on a family in Toyko. In a sensitive and well-supported essay, Ivana discussed how this disaster took its toll on a family, a marriage, and a teenage girl.
