Varsity Baseball Opens the Season with a Thrilling 3-2 Win

The Dalton Varsity Baseball Team started off the season with an exciting 3 - 2 victory over Fieldston on Wednesday. Senior Jackson Herzog pitched a complete game striking out 14 batters. Senior Alex Kim scored a run in the bottom of the third inning to give the Tigers an early lead. Fieldston scored their two runs in the top of the sixth inning. Then sophomore Chase Nelson delivered a big two out two RBI double in the bottom of the 6th inning to put the Tigers ahead for good.
